For nearly four decades, Velammal Bodhi Campus has been a sanctuary for inquiry, character, and craft. We exist to graduate citizens — not just scholars.
Velammal Bodhi Campus, Ponneri carries forward the Velammal legacy of four decades in education. Our campus is built around one conviction: a great school provides quality education in a caring environment.
Our educational philosophy aims at a pragmatic, broad-based, career-oriented education for every child — equipping students with the skills and confidence to make their mark in this digital world.
“Education is not preparation for life itself.”
Good education is always constructive — it constructs and reconstructs existing norms and leads to a better future. We must have a strategy for the holistic development of each child, turning them into global citizens capable of coping with any situation and resetting their own benchmarks.
Shri M V Muthuramalingam
“You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win and expect to win.”
Velammal is committed to play a key role in shaping the future of the world by grooming the future citizens. We aim to provide not just basic education but to spot the talented and nurture it — studying, understanding and assimilating the nuances of global education and toning it to suit the needs of our children.
Shri M.V.M. Sasikumar
“Excellence is always the result of high intention, sincere efforts, intelligent direction and skillful execution.”
Our ultimate aim is to groom students in a comprehensive learning environment. With the cooperation of parents, students and the teaching fraternity, our goals can be achieved. A student admitted here will go out as a successful entrepreneur in the future.
Smt. Geethanjali Sasikumar
At Velammal, our vision goes beyond traditional education. We aim to provide a world-class learning experience that equips every student with not just academic knowledge but also life skills essential to thrive in a global society.
Our mission is centred on the holistic development of students. We achieve this through a well-structured curriculum that seamlessly integrates theory and practical applications — preparing our students for international competition and setting them on a path to success.
"Velammal has proudly hosted eminent personalities — from Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr. M.K. Stalin and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam to cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid — leaving an indelible mark on our younger generation."
